Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the Russian-Saudi talks during the state visit to Russia of the King of Saudi Arabia Salman Ben Abdul Aziz Al Saud

On the 5th of October, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, was on a work trip to Moscow. The main objective is to participate in the Russian-Saudi talks, which took place as part of the state visit to Russia of the King of Saudi Arabia Salman Ben Abdul Aziz Al Saud.

It is worth mentioning that the negotiations of the Russian President Vladimir Putin with the King of Saudi Arabia Salman Ben Abdul Aziz Al Saud took place in the Kremlin. A wide range of issues of the Russian-Saudi cooperation was discussed, and prospects for building up bilateral cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres were discussed. An exchange of views on international issues took place.

Further, Russian-Saudi talks continued in an expanded format.

The Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that this is the first visit of the King of Saudi Arabia in the history of Russian-Saudi interstate relations. "I am confident that this visit will give a new, powerful impetus to the development of bilateral interstate relations," Vladimir Putin said.
As a result of the negotiations, a package of documents was signed.
